Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Drive a delivery vehicle to transport packages to customers in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
- Customer Interaction: Deliver packages with a smile, ensuring a positive unboxing experience for every customer.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean and in good working condition.
- Package Handling: Load and unload packages from the vehicle, ensuring they are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Technology Utilization: Utilize handheld devices and navigation apps to plan efficient routes and manage delivery schedules.
- Record Keeping: Accurately record proof of delivery and any special handling instructions.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license issued by the state of residence.
- Clean Driving Record: Must have a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3-5 years).
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Smartphone: Must have access to a smartphone (iOS or Android) for route management.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
