Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on dedicated OTR routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Adhere to HOS regulations and all transportation laws
- Communicate with dispatch and customers on delivery status
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate repairs
- Utilize telematics systems for route optimization
- Maintain clean driving record and professional conduct
Qualifications
- Valid US driver's license with clean record
- Ability to obtain Class A CDL (training provided)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic map reading and GPS navigation skills
- Ability to travel 3-4 weeks/month
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- No DUIs or major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
