Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks and straight trucks to deliver freight safely and on time to the Plano, TX area and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety compliance and prevent breakdowns.
- Handle loading and unloading of cargo with care, efficiency, and proper documentation.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety policies, and company procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class B CDL (or Class A with Box Truck experience).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in logistics or freight.
- Strong understanding of local and regional delivery routes in the North Texas area.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and a criminal background check.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to customer service excellence.
- Own or be able to finance a suitable box truck (financing options available).
