Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across Northern California
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and pre-trip safety checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and local traffic laws
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Secure cargo using proper loading/unloading techniques
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate repairs
- Complete on-the-road training modules
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to obtain CDL-A within 90 days (training provided)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge preferred but not required
- Ability to sit for extended periods and climb into/out of trucks
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
