Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for long-haul deliveries across assigned routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging records
- Coordinate with dispatchers for efficient route planning and timing
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Represent the company with professionalism at all delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL permit or ability to obtain one within 30 days
- Must pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to travel overnight (4-5 days per week)
- Basic navigation skills and smartphone proficiency
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to complete paid company training program
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
