Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on designated routes.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate and legal driver logs (DOT compliant).
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Provide exceptional customer service during stops and deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays or route changes.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B).
- No prior driving experience required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Must be at least 21 years old (required for interstate commerce).
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle for local commutes (if applicable).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
