Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for night-time deliveries across the Houston metro area
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with precision using appropriate equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries with minimal delays
- Report maintenance issues and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate manual transmission
- Strong navigation skills in Houston and surrounding areas
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Excellent time management and communication skills
