Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on overnight routes throughout Southern California
- Load/unload freight with precision using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems while adhering to DOT regulations
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and route changes
- Ensure secure cargo handling and proper documentation for all shipments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year OTR or regional trucking experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Familiarity with California's roadways and port regulations
- Pass background check and drug screening per federal requirements
- Flexible schedule availability with reliable transportation to depot
