Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for long-haul and local routes during overnight shifts
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain accurate logbooks
- Inspect vehicles before/during/after shifts for compliance with DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments and cargo updates
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate professionally with clients and warehouse personnel
- Maintain clean and organized cab environment
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles area highways and industrial zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays as needed
- Basic GPS and electronic logging device proficiency
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
