Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages, food, and medical supplies across Oakland during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely and efficient service
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for inventory control and billing purposes
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication and package handling
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience with commercial vehicle familiarity
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Oakland streets and Bay Area highway systems
- Reliable smartphone with data plan and basic navigation app proficiency
- Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
