Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in New York and Florida.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and proper maintenance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently and securely using proper lifting techniques.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including accurate signing and notification.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and digital paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Manage time effectively to meet strict delivery windows.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class C) or equivalent state driver's license required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional driving experience preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong knowledge of New York City and Florida roadways is highly preferred.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Must pass a background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) check, and drug screening.
- Professional appearance and communication skills.
