Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and essential goods during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize time efficiency and fuel savings
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain digital signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during night-time deliveries and resolve delivery issues
- Collaborate with dispatch team to adapt routes based on real-time traffic and weather conditions
- Ensure compliance with all Arizona transportation regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving or delivery experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong knowledge of Phoenix metropolitan area and surrounding communities
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and delivery management systems
- Availability to work flexible night shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening (company-provided)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for minor vehicle issues
