Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods across Los Angeles County during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Maintain accurate delivery records using GPS tracking and mobile scanning technology
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication and timely issue resolution
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Optimize delivery routes using real-time traffic data to maximize efficiency
- Coordinate with dispatch team to handle special delivery requests and urgent orders
- Ensure all deliveries comply with company safety protocols and local regulations
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar logistics role
- Ability to navigate Los Angeles streets efficiently, including downtown and suburban areas
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
