Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Efficiently navigate San Francisco streets using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Load/unload packages with care, ensuring proper handling of fragile items
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all company policies and local delivery regulations
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of San Francisco geography and traffic patterns
- Availability to work flexible night shifts (typically 10 PM - 6 AM)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking applications
- Background check and drug screening required
