Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Deliver time-sensitive freight to commercial and residential locations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage loading/unloading procedures with team support
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Metro Detroit area and routes
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
