Responsibilities
- Safely navigate and deliver packages to residential/commercial addresses using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation via mobile scanning system
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for efficiency using GPS navigation tools
- Provide exceptional customer service during package interactions
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time delivery updates
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at distribution hub
Qualifications
- Valid U.S. driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Reliable smartphone with data connectivity
- Flexibility to work 10 PM - 6 AM shifts (including weekends)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of D.C./Northern Virginia geography
