Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology and adjust for traffic/weather
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Complete required paperwork accurately and submit on time
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- No commercial driving experience required – we provide full training!
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and logbooks
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
