Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages and goods throughout Charlotte metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and issue resolution
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet tight deadlines
- Collaborate with dispatch team to communicate delivery status and address delays
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures at distribution centers and client locations
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Charlotte area roads and navigation systems
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (typically 10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route management apps
- Reliable transportation to and from distribution center
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
