Responsibilities
- Safely navigate and deliver packages to residential/commercial locations across Virginia Beach
- Maintain precise delivery records using digital tracking systems
- Perform vehicle safety checks and daily maintenance inspections
- Optimize delivery routes using real-time traffic data
- Provide exceptional customer service during residential deliveries
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route adjustments
- Securely handle high-value and temperature-sensitive packages
- Complete post-delivery paperwork and inventory reconciliation
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean MVR (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper technique
- Familiarity with Virginia Beach neighborhoods and traffic patterns
- Proficient with smartphone navigation and delivery apps
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work in all weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
