Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods across Long Beach
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time management protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Inspect vehicles before/duty to ensure roadworthiness
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Communicate delivery status and delays via company systems
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Long Beach area streets
- Availability to work flexible evening shifts (typically 6 PM - 2 AM)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and delivery apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to depot location
