Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and legally in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and necessary paperwork.
- Deliver products to designated locations on time while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3-5 years).
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and vehicle handling.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing duties requiring stamina.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and communication.
