Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations throughout New Orleans
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures and inventory management
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 1 year)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong sense of direction and familiarity with New Orleans area
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Reliable transportation to and from the distribution center
