Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport freight to designated locations adhering to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all safety protocols
- Report maintenance issues promptly and document delivery confirmations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong navigation skills with GPS proficiency
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Physical ability to climb ladders and secure loads
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
