Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on designated routes throughout New Orleans and surrounding areas.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring weight distribution and securing loads properly.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with dispatch and clients.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Current Medical Card and DOT Physical.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no more than 1 moving violation in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
