Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for overnight freight transport
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route optimization
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Communicate delivery status and resolve route issues
- Maintain clean vehicle appearance and maintenance records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- 1+ year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Cleveland metro area and Ohio highways
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
