Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport goods to regional distribution centers and client facilities
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for route optimization and timing
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload shipments using appropriate equipment when required
- Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to work independently in overnight conditions
- Strong knowledge of Jacksonville metro area and Florida highways
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing delivery schedules
- Excellent time management and communication skills
