Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles during assigned night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport freight between distribution centers and client locations within Northern California
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance logs
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logging system compliance
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route conditions and delivery status
- Secure and verify cargo before transit and upon delivery
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Proficient with electronic logging devices and route navigation systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
