Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages, food, and supplies to residential and commercial locations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our mobile tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service during nighttime interactions
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols during late-night operations
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery windows in high-traffic areas
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and emergency deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Virginia Beach roadways and GPS navigation
- Flexibility to work nights (10 PM - 6 AM) with rotating weekends
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
