Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Transport freight safely and efficiently across regional routes within Texas and surrounding states.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate logs and records in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the tractor and trailer.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with no air brake restriction.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
