Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and pharmaceuticals in temperature-controlled vehicles
- Maintain strict chain-of-custody documentation for all medical deliveries
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance standards and biohazard protocols
- Coordinate with hospitals, clinics, and laboratories for timely pickups/drop-offs
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance inspections and cleanliness protocols
- Utilize GPS tracking systems for real-time route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare partners
Qualifications
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- OSHA bloodborne pathogen certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Background check and drug screening required
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology a plus
