Responsibilities
- Perform the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of medical specimens and sensitive materials to designated laboratories and medical centers.
- Maintain strict adherence to all HIPAA regulations and company safety protocols regarding patient confidentiality and specimen integrity.
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle, including regular sanitization to prevent cross-contamination.
- Update and manage delivery logs and tracking systems accurately to ensure 100% documentation compliance.
- Adhere to traffic laws and company driving policies to ensure a clean driving record and safe operations.
- Handle special handling instructions for fragile or temperature-sensitive items with precision.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld delivery devices or scanners.
- Professional appearance and grooming standards are mandatory.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods during shifts.
- Reliable personal vehicle is required (unless company vehicle is provided).
