Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, and pharmaceuticals using temperature-controlled vehicles
- Maintain strict chain-of-custody documentation and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Perform quality control checks on packaging and specimen integrity
- Coordinate with hospitals, labs, and transplant centers for timely pickups/deliveries
- Operate specialized medical equipment including refrigerated units and biohazard containers
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare facility staff
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
- Willingness to complete paid certification training program
