Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab results, and equipment between hospitals, clinics, and labs
- Maintain strict chain-of-custody documentation for all sensitive materials
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain clean, organized transport vehicles
- Communicate professionally with healthcare staff and dispatch teams
- Track deliveries using GPS technology and digital logging systems
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and communication apps
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Commitment to punctuality and reliability
- Willingness to complete paid training program (4 weeks)
