Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, lab results, and critical documents to hospitals, clinics, and testing facilities in a timely manner.
- Adhere to strict HIPAA compliance standards and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Verify and sign off on delivery receipts and chain-of-custody forms accurately.
- Ensure the safety and integrity of temperature-sensitive medical supplies during transit.
- Maintain the cleanliness and general maintenance of the assigned delivery vehicle.
- Report any vehicle issues or delivery delays to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no DUIs or major infractions).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle suitable for commercial use.
- Basic computer skills for logging delivery information.
