Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, blood products, and pharmaceuticals in temperature-controlled vehicles
- Maintain strict chain of custody documentation for all medical deliveries
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and infection control standards
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at clinics, labs, and hospitals
- Perform vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks
- Communicate professionally with healthcare staff and clients
- Utilize GPS tracking systems for real-time route management
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate temperature-controlled equipment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
