Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and equipment in temperature-controlled vehicles
- Maintain precise delivery records and documentation using digital tracking systems
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for patient data security
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintenance checks
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for efficient pickup/delivery scheduling
- Respond urgently to time-sensitive medical delivery requests
- Represent MediSwift with professionalism in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year medical or specimen transport experience
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification preferred
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and delivery apps
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate in varied weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Clear background check and drug screening required
- Basic medical terminology knowledge preferred
