Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, vaccines, and pharmaceuticals using temperature-controlled vehicles
- Maintain strict chain-of-custody protocols and HIPAA compliance during all deliveries
- Navigate Reno’s medical district efficiently using GPS and route optimization tools
- Verify delivery documentation and obtain proper signatures from healthcare facility staff
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintain clean, sanitized transport equipment
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and medical facility coordinators
- Respond to urgent on-demand delivery requests with minimal delay
Qualifications
- Valid Nevada driver’s license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Experience with medical specimen handling and temperature-controlled transport preferred
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Proficiency in using mobile delivery apps and basic GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Background check and drug screening required (company-provided)
