Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, medications, and equipment using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive materials (cold chain management)
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and electronic tracking
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and chain-of-custody procedures
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for timely pickups and deliveries
- Perform vehicle safety checks and maintenance reporting
- Communicate delivery status and exceptions to dispatch team
Qualifications
- Valid NJ Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical/healthcare logistics
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted and navigate stairs
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Proficient with mobile tracking applications
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic medical terminology knowledge
