Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and pharmaceuticals in temperature-controlled vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking documentation
- Adhere to HIPAA protocols and biohazard handling procedures
- Coordinate with hospital staff, labs, and pharmacies for timely pickups/deliveries
- Perform vehicle safety checks and routine maintenance
- Communicate delivery status and exceptions in real-time via GPS tracking
- Assist with inventory management of medical supplies during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and biohazard handling
- Strong time management and navigation skills in Houston metro area
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Customer service experience preferred
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
