Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab samples, and pharmaceutical products in temperature-controlled containers
- Maintain strict chain-of-custody protocols for sensitive materials
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance standards for patient information protection
- Coordinate pickup/delivery schedules with hospital labs, pharmacies, and clinics
- Complete electronic documentation and route tracking in real-time
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintain clean transport equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare partners
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate temperature-controlled containers
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and communication
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in healthcare or logistics preferred
- Reliable transportation to/from depot locations
