Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, pharmaceuticals, and lab equipment in temperature-controlled vehicles
- Maintain precise delivery schedules with GPS tracking and real-time route optimization
- Verify documentation and maintain strict chain-of-custody protocols for all medical materials
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational readiness
- Communicate professionally with healthcare facilities regarding delivery status and special handling requirements
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and all healthcare transportation regulations
- Utilize electronic logging systems for accurate delivery documentation
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Experience with temperature-controlled medical transport or healthcare logistics preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
