Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, and critical supplies to hospitals, labs, and clinics
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive materials during transit
- Complete meticulous documentation and tracking for all deliveries
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and biohazard safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals
- Communicate proactively with healthcare providers and dispatch teams
- Perform vehicle safety checks and maintenance protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Reliable transportation to our Lubbock depot
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
