Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab results, and pharmaceutical supplies to healthcare facilities
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive materials using specialized equipment
- Document all transfers with digital tracking systems and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate with hospital staff, labs, and clinics for efficient pickup/delivery schedules
- Perform vehicle safety checks and maintain clean, organized transport vehicles
- Respond to urgent delivery requests with real-time routing adjustments
- Train on advanced cold-chain management protocols and emergency transport procedures
Qualifications
- Valid NC driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical or time-sensitive logistics
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification preferred
- Proficient with smartphone navigation and digital tracking systems
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
