Responsibilities
- Securely transport medical specimens, lab results, and pharmaceutical supplies between hospitals, clinics, and labs while maintaining strict temperature controls
- Maintain HIPAA compliance through meticulous documentation and confidential handling of all patient materials
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs across Sacramento
- Perform quality control checks on specimens and medical equipment during transit
- Communicate proactively with healthcare staff regarding delivery status and any logistical challenges
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure safety and regulatory compliance
- Assist with inventory management of medical supplies and courier equipment
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 minor violations in past 3 years)
