Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and pharmaceuticals using temperature-controlled vehicles
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and strict chain-of-custody protocols for all medical shipments
- Utilize GPS tracking systems for real-time route optimization and on-time delivery
- Perform vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational readiness
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities to schedule pickups and deliveries efficiently
- Document all transport activities using our digital tracking platform
- Respond to urgent medical transport requests with professionalism and urgency
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean driving record (no moving violations in 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical transport or logistics
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical shipping protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate temperature-controlled equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
