Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and pharmaceuticals using climate-controlled vehicles
- Maintain strict chain-of-custody documentation and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely, temperature-controlled transport
- Provide exceptional customer service to hospitals, clinics, and laboratories across Charlotte metro
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational safety
- Utilize electronic logging systems for real-time tracking and delivery confirmations
Qualifications
- Valid NC driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience with temperature-controlled transport systems preferred
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate medical facilities efficiently
