Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab samples, and pharmaceuticals using temperature-controlled containers
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation via our proprietary tracking system
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for patient data protection
- Perform vehicle safety checks and routine maintenance coordination
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for seamless pick-up/delivery scheduling
- Respond to urgent medical transport requests with immediate availability
- Prepare and package specimens according to biohazard standards
Qualifications
- Valid Washington driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of Seattle metro area geography and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Background check and drug screening clearance required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
