Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and sensitive documents using temperature-controlled packaging
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems for all shipments
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and secure handling of confidential materials
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities to schedule pickups/delivers and resolve delivery issues
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintain clean, organized transport equipment
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch team and receiving facilities
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable vehicle
- High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare or logistics experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Basic knowledge of medical specimen handling protocols
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and mobile communication tools
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
