Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, pharmaceuticals, and confidential healthcare materials using climate-controlled vehicles
- Maintain strict chain-of-custody documentation and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Coordinate with hospitals, labs, and clinics for timely pickups and deliveries
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintenance checks daily
- Utilize GPS technology for optimized routing and real-time tracking
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and recipients
- Handle emergency medical deliveries with urgency and precision
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean MVR record
- Minimum 2 years experience in medical/courier transportation
- Certification in bloodborne pathogens and biohazard handling preferred
- Proficient with mobile technology and delivery tracking systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate medical facilities safely
