Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, lab samples, and pharmaceuticals between facilities using secure, temperature-controlled vehicles
- Maintain chain-of-custody documentation and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle cleanliness/organization
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for efficient pickup/delivery scheduling
- Utilize GPS navigation for timely, accurate route execution
- Communicate delivery status and exceptions to dispatch team
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and defensive driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical transport or logistics
- Proficient with electronic logging systems and mobile apps
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
